Mount Alexander Shire: 2009-2010 Community Grants Scheme

It’s time for our community to think about potential projects that could be supported through the MAS Community Grants Scheme. The aim of the scheme is to support not-for-profit community organisations (such as Newstead 2021 and lots of other active Newstead groups) in the provision of facilities, programs and services that enhance the quality of life and create a sustainable future for residents and visitors to the Mount Alexander Shire.

A series of information sessions regarding the Community Grants Scheme will be held in various locations across the Shire in the coming weeks as follows:

Wednesday 25 November from 7pm – 8pm
Ray Bradfield Room, Castlemaine

Thursday 26 November from 12.30pm – 1.30pm
Maldon Neighbourhood Centre

Friday 27 November from 12.30pm – 1.30pm
Ray Bradfield Room, Castlemaine

Applications for the 2009/2010 Community Grants Scheme open on Monday 9 November and close at 4pm on Friday 11 December 2009. For more information including the guidelines and application form click here.
